Richard Diedrich
The focus of my painting is a series titled: “Man on the Edge.”
The series is an expression of man’s affinity toward settling where the water meets the land, whether it be a lakefront, urban waterfront, ocean shore or island.
Although there may be overtones of the shrinking extent of natural watefront and even of inundation, the paintings represent, in an increasingly abstract way, man’s wanting to be on the waters edge.
Richard has studied watercolor under many artists across the United States. He is a Signature Member of the Georgia Watercolor Society and a member of the Quinlan Art Center and the American Institute of Architects.
